Shipping Policy

Shipping Tropical Fish from Westchester Aquarium

All of our door-to-door orders are sent using Next Day Air. 

We ship two days a week. Monday and Tuesday or Tuesday and Wednesday if Monday is a Holiday. 

Most orders received will be shipped the following week.

Please text or call us if you are planning on making a pick up. 845-531-9103. We only offer pick ups by appointment ONLY. 


Be mindful of the laws in your state before placing your order! If the fish selected are illegal in the state you reside in, your order will be cancelled. 


Where do we ship from?

We ship from our location located in Somers, NY.


Shipping rates:

We are happy to offer a shipping discount that saves you a considerable amount compared to retail prices. We use Flat Rate shipping at check out or you can pick up your order at our location for a FREE store pick up.


We DO NOT ship to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska and Canada. If an order is made - you will be refunded within 72 hours.


How Do We Prepare Fish for Shipping?

When your order is placed, we do visual checks on every fish to ensure they are in the upmost of health and in tip top condition.  To ship fish properly, a period of fasting is required. This is why we only ship two days a week.
